HAMILTON, Ont. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League, in conjunction with National Hockey League Central Scouting, announced today the Top 10 performers from Tuesday morning’s on-ice player testing process that was completed prior to the CJHL Prospects Game that was held last night in Hamilton, Ont.
Topping the list in overall performance following testing of 10 separate monitored events was Steinbach Pistons (MJHL) center Carter Loney.
He was followed by Canmore Eagles (AJHL) center Alex Young and defenceman Ethan Edwards of the Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL).
Each of the 36 skaters participating in the event took part in 10 separate on-ice tests that were timed through programs run by Sport Testing Inc., that provides athlete analysis using distinguished equipment, combined with world-class technologies and analytics.
Those 10 individual skating tests completed were as follows: 30M Forward; 30M Forward with Puck; 30M Backward; 30M Backward with Puck; Transition Agility; Transition Agility with Puck; Weave Agility; Weave Agility with Puck; Reaction; Reaction with Puck.

Team West won Tuesday evening’s CJHL Prospects Game 6-4 in front of fans and over 200 scouts from the NHL, NCAA, U SPORTS and the CHL.
