TORONTO – NCAA Division III men’s programs were inundated with 769 Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) alumni among the nearly 100 schools that iced teams during the 2025-26 campaign.
Of that extended group, 14 played for the eventual D-III national champion, Hamilton College, where the Continentals defeated the Hobart Statesmen 2-1 in overtime in the title game.
Hobart had five CJHL alums playing for them.
You also had each of the nine CJHL-member leagues having a multitude of its past players competing throughout.
There were several individual achievements attained by CJHL alumnus over the season.
Adrian College forward Ian Amsbaugh, (Steinbach Pistons/MJHL) led all NCAA D-III players in scoring, with 49 points in 28 games, on 12 goals and 37 assists.

Meanwhile, University of Wisconsin-River Falls stalwart Keenan Ingram (Yorkton Terriers/SJHL; Fort McMurray Oil Barons/AJHL); Kindersley Klippers/SJHL) topped all skaters in tallies with 26.
The duo were both named West Region 1st Team All-Americans.

Hobart netminder Damon Beaver, (Stouffville Spirit/OJHL) garnered East Region 1st Team All-American laurels while leading the way with a stellar 0.99 goals-against average. His .951 save percentage was also No. 1 in NCAA D-III numbers.
Beaver’s only defeat on the season was the OT setback to Hamilton in the national final, finishing up at 20-1-0 and a career 71-5-1 overall record in four years at Hobart.

Right behind him was Salve Regina goalkeeper Selby Warren, (Toronto Patriots/OJHL; Toronto Jr. Canadiens (OJHL) as he registered a 1.55 average.

Fellow goaltender Matthew Hennessey, of Anna Maria College, (Bonnyville Pontiacs/AJHL) was No. 2 with his crisp .944 save mark.
