Trenton Golden Hawks 5, Northern Manitoba Blizzard 4 (OT)
- Corbin Roach (Belleville, ON) scored two goals – including the overtime winner, and added an assist for Trenton.
- Jonathan Pylypuik (Sylvania, OH) added two assists for Trenton.
- Tyler Bernier (Winnipeg, MB) had two goals for Northern Manitoba, including the game-tying goal with 61 seconds left to force overtime.
Edmundston Blizzard 4, Rockland Nationals 3 (OT)
- Philippe Collette (Saint-Antoine, NB) scored 43 seconds into overtime to earn the win for Edmundston and also added two assists.
- Jacob Charron (Gatineau, QC) scored with two seconds left for Rockland to send the game to overtime.
- The Blizzard outshot the Nationals 37-33.
Calgary Canucks 3, Melfort Mustangs 1
- Riley Bracko (Calgary, AB), Hayden Fechner (Edmonton, AB) and Luc Trevors (Langdon, AB) scored for Calgary.
- Lukas Renaud (Naples, FL) turned aside 28 shots for the Canucks.
- Ashton Hutchinson (St. Albert, AB) scored the lone goal for Melfort.

« Selon moi, aucune des deux équipes ne s’attendait à ce que neuf buts soient marqués aujourd’hui. Les deux équipes ont connu de bons moments, nos adversaires ont redoublé d’efforts et bien performé en troisième période. De notre côté, le but que nous avons accordé en fin de troisième aurait pu nous démoraliser, mais nos joueurs se sont accrochés, et notre gardien nous a sauvés avec un arrêt énorme en prolongation, ce qui nous a donné l’occasion de compter en avantage numérique. « Nous avons la chance de pouvoir utiliser la vidéo, et sans trop en faire, ça reste important de connaître les tendances de nos adversaires et le style de jeu de chaque ligue, car elles sont toutes différentes. Nous savions que, dans la CCHL, c’était très rapide, avec des jeux de transition efficaces, et que l’équipe est plus jeune. Donc, c’est bien pour nous de pouvoir faire nos devoirs en vue des affrontements. »

« Je pense que notre semaine et demie de congé nous a nui un peu. Dans les cinq premières minutes, on avait de la misère à suivre le rythme, mais on a fini par trouver notre erre d’aller et par jouer à notre manière. On s’est appuyé sur notre gardien de but (Lukas Renaud) toute l’année. Il ne reçoit pas tout le mérite qui lui revient, mais je suis super content pour lui aujourd’hui, il a bien joué. Il ferme la porte, et on ne gagnerait pas de matchs sans lui. »
