SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. –
The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Sunday its Executive Committee for the 2026-27 season, following the completion of its Annual General Meeting held during the Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons, in Summerside.

Acclaimed for a one-year term as Chair of the Board was Robert Mazzuca, the commissioner of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL).

Mazzuca has served as CJHL Chair since 2021 and is set to commence his 16th campaign guiding the NOJHL.

“It continues to be an honour and privilege to operate in my role as the Chair of the Board for the CJHL,” stated Mazzuca.

“My colleagues and I, along with our partners at Hockey Canada, remain focused on the betterment of Jr. A hockey across the country, in all facets of the game,” he added.

Rejoining Mazzuca on the CJHL executive are vice-chairs Ryan Bartoshyk (West) and Kevin Figsby (East), who are both back on one-year terms.

Bartoshyk is the commissioner of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) while Figsby is the commissioner of the Ligue de Hockey Junior AAA du Quebec (LHJAAAQ).
