“It feels great to get the win. We came here with a goal in mind and we’re one step closer today. Clinching a playoff spot is only half the job though. We want to keep the momentum rolling now. We can’t take our foot off the gas or change the gameplan because of the meaning of the game on Thursday, we know it will be a tough test and our guys can’t wait.”
Hudon on clinching a playoff spot with the win.
“This is the best tournament in the country, and you have to play well every night. Within our group you have to be at your best every day. Everyone on this team can step in and step up at any time and we saw that tonight when (Hunter) Wallace went down early. I thought we kept pushing regardless of the score and it was nice to get the win.”
Fink on the Bandits’ next-man-up mentality.
“We gutted this one out tonight. Two intense games back-to-back were wearing on our guys, for sure. We got some big saves from our goalie, and a huge goal from (Kian) Bell and found a way. I think Kian scoring that goal will be huge for his confidence and we need him. It was great to see.”

« C’est très agréable d’obtenir la victoire. On est venus ici avec un but en tête et on a fait un pas de plus vers ce but aujourd’hui. Confirmer notre place en ronde éliminatoire ne marque que la moitié de notre parcours. On veut continuer sur cette lancée. « C’est le tournoi qui regroupe les meilleures équipes au pays, alors il faut bien jouer chaque soir. À même notre groupe, il faut être à son meilleur chaque jour. Tout le monde dans l’équipe peut s’insérer dans la formation et élever son jeu à tout moment, on l’a vu ce soir lorsque [Hunter] Wallace est tombé au combat en début de rencontre. J’ai trouvé qu’on a gardé la même intensité malgré le pointage, et c’était bien de l’emporter. »
Fink sur la mentalité de son équipe, où chacun est prêt à sauter dans la mêlée à tout moment
« On a puisé au fond des réserves ce soir. Deux matchs intenses de suite ont épuisé nos joueurs, c’est certain. Notre gardien de but a fait de gros arrêts pour nous, [Kian] Bell a marqué un but important, et nous avons trouvé le moyen de gagner. Je crois que ce but sera énorme pour la confiance de Kian, et nous avons besoin de lui. C’était beau à voir. »
