Additional roster change announced for CJHL Prospects Game

Forward Cameron Last (Rockland, CCHL) added to Team East lineup

CALGARY, Alta. The Canadian Junior Hockey League, in partnership with the National Hockey League and Hockey Canada, as well as in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting, announced Saturday an additional change to the Team East roster for the CJHL Prospects Game, which goes Tuesday, January 14 at 7 p.m. ET at Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena in Hamilton, Ont.

Named to the Team East line-up from a list of alternates supplied by NHL Central Scouting, is forward Cameron Last of the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).

Last replaces Christian Stevens, formerly of the Whitby Fury (OJHL), who has now joined the North Bay Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League.

The 18-year-old Last is currently playing at close to a point-per-game pace for Rockland this season with 28 points in 29 outings on 11 goals and 17 assists.

Now in his second full campaign in the CCHL with the Nationals, the Gloucester, Ont., product has produced 26 tallies and has helped set-up 39 others for 65 points in 89 career contests.

He’ll now be joining fellow Rockland teammate Cole Craft in the Team East lineup for Tuesday’s match-up.

Tickets for the CJHL Prospects Game, which will be available at the door, are $15 for adults while seniors and students are $10.
