TORONTO – The just wrapped up ECHL campaign saw 159 Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) alumni taking part on the ice.
Included in that group was ECHL Most Valuable Player and Top Defenceman Award recipient Marcus Crawford (Whitby Fury/OJHL).
Also tabbed a 1st Team ECHL All-Star, Crawford, a member of the Kansas City Mavericks, became the initial blueliner to win the 
league scoring title, with 86 points, and just the second rearguard to be named MVP.
You also had five CJHL alumnus who were members of the ECHL Kelly Cup champion Florida Everblades, while five others, including Crawford, were on the finalist Mavericks squad.
