TORONTO –
National Hockey League Central Scouting released its 2025-26 preliminary ‘Players to Watch’ list on Monday and three goalkeepers from the Canadian Junior Hockey League are among those tabbed.

Collingwood Blues (OJHL) netminder Maksim Corovic was rated a ‘C’ goaltender.

That has him as a possible fourth or fifth round choice in the 2026 NHL Draft.

Corovic has won both his starts for the Blues in sporting a sharp 0.50 goals-against average along with an equally stellar .979 save percentage and one shutout.

Another OJHL stopper, Matthew Humphries of Aurora Tigers, received a ‘W’ rating, which indicates being a potential sixth or seventh round selection.

The 17-year-old Humphries has a 2-2-0-0 record to date with a 3.76 GAA and a .901 SV%.

Meanwhile, Lloydminster Bobcats (AJHL) goaltender Matthew Kondro also received a ‘W’ assessment as another possible higher-round choice.

Kondro has gone 5-2-0-0 for the Bobcats to begin his season and has a 2.41 average, along with a .913 save mark.
