VANCOUVER, B.C. — Blake Spiller (right) of the Portage Terriers (MJHL) was presented the inaugural Darcy Haugan/Mark Cross Memorial Award as CJHL Coach of the Year Thursday at the NHL Coaches’ Association Clinic in Vancouver by Christina Haugan.
Also on hand for the presentation was Terriers assistant coach Paul Harland.
Spiller and Harland were guests of the NHLCA for their annual coaches’ clinic.
