Surging Rockland Nationals (CCHL) maintain hold of No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade

TORONTO –
Winners of 21 consecutive contests, the Rockland Nationals (CCHL) are maintaining their hold on No. 1 in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.

The Nationals are comfortably in control of top spot in the Central Canada Hockey League standings as well, sporting a solid 36-2-0-0 overall mark to lead the way in theie 12-team loop.

Unbeaten in January, and on an 11-game heater, the Niverville Nighthawks continue to sit at No. 2 in the listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service.

Leading the way in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, the Nighthawks have gone 35-2-1-0 to date.

Keeping pace at No. 3 nationally is Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ).

As the front-runners in the 13-team Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League, Longueuil enters on-ice action this week at 32-3-0-1.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Patriots (OJHL) are holding firm at No. 4 in the CJHL.

They continue to sit atop the overall Ontario Junior Hockey League table having gone on a 37-6-0-1 run so far this season.

Wrapping up at No. 5 this week remains another LHJAAAQ club, the Panthères de St-Jérôme.

They currently sit at 30-6-0-2.
