TORONTO –
Hockey Canada announced its two rosters for next month’s under-17 World Challenge and a pair of current Canadian Junior Hockey League players were among those selected.

Defenceman Gavin Godick (Wellington Dukes/OJHL) and goaltender Owen Loftus (Powassan Voodoos/NOJHL) were both named to the Canada Red squad that will compete in U17WC, which goes Nov. 1-7, at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville, Ont.

Godick has five points in his first 10 Ontario Junior Hockey League contests on two goals and three assists. That puts him into a tie for second in scoring among all Dukes’ defencemen.
