Final CJHL Top 20 Rankings for 2019 sees Brooks Bandits (AJHL) tabbed No. 1

CALGARY, Alta. The surging Brooks Bandits (AJHL) wrap up the 2019 version of the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Top 20 Rankings in a familiar spot, tabbed No. 1 nationally.

Brooks has won 11 consecutive contests and boasts an impressive 35-1-1 record so far this season to top the listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting source.

Another AJHL side, in the Sherwood Park Crusaders, have reeled off seven straight triumphs to earn the No. 2 nod in the 131-team CJHL, having gone 32-3-0 to date in 2019-20.

Staying at No. 3 are the Coquitlam Express (BCHL) who top the table in British Columbia with a 35-5-0-0 mark.

Back for another week at No. 4 are the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL). CPC enters the holiday break at 32-5-3-2.

Moving up to No. 5 are the Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL) as they presently pace the standings in northern Ontario with a 28-6-0-0 record.

The initial CJHL Top 20 Rankings for 2020 will be released on Monday, Jan. 13.
