CALGARY, Alta. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Saturday the group that will serve as assistant coaches and support staff for the upcoming CJHL Prospects Game, which goes Tuesday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Port Credit Memorial Arena in Mississauga, Ont.
Joining Team East head coach John Dean of the Toronto Patriots (OJHL) and guest coach; former Toronto Maple Leafs captain Rick Vaive, as an assistant coach will be Oakville Blades (OJHL) bench boss Mike Tarantino.
Meanwhile Craig Clayton of the Oakville Blades (OJHL) will serve as equipment manager; Amanda Gilroy of the Whitby Fury (OJHL) is Team East’s athletic therapist while Adam Bendall of the Mississauga Chargers (OJHL) will provide equipment support.
As for Team West, Mississauga Chargers (OJHL) head coach Joe Washkurak will work as an assistant to the club’s head coach Joe Martin of the Merritt Centennials (BCHL) and Toronto Maple Leafs legend and guest coach Wendel Clark.
Rounding out the Team West staff with equipment manager Mike Aloe of the Burlington Cougars (OJHL) and athleric therapist Jessica Frame of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres (OJHL).
