TORONTO –
Having a knack for setting up goals in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) is an ability that a solid core of players, continue to display.

As the nine-member leagues and the 116 teams that comprise the CJHL enter the holiday break, you’ll find there are 73 skaters who have doled out 25, or more, assists so far in the 2025-26 campaign.

Topping that list is Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) forward Taeo Artichuk.

The 20-year-old Moncton, N.B., product has a CJHL-high 51 assists on the season.

Next in the group of front-runners, in terms of helpers, is 19-year-old Mavrick Brunet of the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).

Hailing from Laval, Que., Brunet has set-up 43 tallies for the No. 1 CJHL-ranked Nationals.

Third among apples is Hearst Lumberjacks (NOJHL) centre Mathieu Comeau.

A veteran of 238 NOJHL contests for his hometown Hearst side, Comeau has collected 39 helpers in 28 match-ups to date in 2025-26.
