
TORONTO – For a seventh straight week Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) remains No. 1 in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.
Through their first 23 Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League contests, Collège Français has won all but one of them as they sit with an impressive record of 22-1-0-0.
Another surging side, the Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL) hold firm at No. 2 in the listings.
The Nighthawks have reeled off 14 consecutive victories while pacing the Manitoba Junior Hockey League with an overall mark of 20-1-0-0.
Tabbed No. 3 in the weekly listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, sit the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).
As the front-runners in the 12-team Central Canada Hockey League, Rockland has gone 20-2-0-0 to date.
Playing at a winning percentage clip of .800 to date, the Toronto Patriots (OJHL) come in at No. 4.
Through 30 Ontario Junior Hockey League contests, the Patriots sport a record of 24-6-0-0 and boast an OJHL-best goal differential of plus-72.
Wrapping up the Top 5 are the Ottawa Jr. Senators (CCHL).
With only one defeat in their past dozen outings, Ottawa has gone 17-4-0-1 entering on-ice action this week.
