Status quo among top rated clubs in CJHL Top 20 Rankings

CALGARY, Alta. – Rolling right along, the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) maintain their grasp as the No. 1 team in the 133-team Canadian Junior Hockey League in the latest Top 20 Rankings announced Monday.

Brooks has won 17 straight outings and pace the AJHL standings with an impressive 41-3 overall record.

Also continuing their solid campaign, the Thunder Bay North Stars (SIJHL) hold firm as No. 2 squad in the CJHL as they boast a 26-2-1-1 mark through their first 30 games.

No change at No 3 this week as well with the Oakville Blades (OJHL) sitting in top spot among the 22 clubs in their league while having gone 35-4-1-2 to date.

Staying at No. 4 in the country are the Cobras de Terrebonne (LHJAAAQ) who have registered a 29-5-2-1 run so far in 2018-19 to sit in top spot in their 13-team loop.

Back in the No. 5 slot for another week are the Summerside Western Capitals (MHL).

The Western Capitals saw a nine-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a shootout setback Saturday vs. the 2019 Fred Page Cup-host Amherst Ramblers, but are still an impressive 20-1-1 in their past 22 outings and 28-5-0-1 overall in the Maritimes.
