MONTREAL – The Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League announced Thursday the return of the InStat All-Star Game that will feature elite players from the LHJAAAQ squaring off against the McGill Redbirds (U SPORTS).
The game will take place on Friday, December 30 at 3 p.m. at Centre sportif Léonard-Grondin, in Granby. The QJAAAHL team for this game will consist of the best players in the league. The rosters for both teams will be announced in the coming weeks. It will be an opportunity for hockey fans to witness a great match-up at very affordable prices. Tickets will be available to the general public for as little as $5 for students and $12 for adults. It will be free admission for kids under 12-year-old.
The coaches behind the QJAAAHL will be those leading the top three teams in the standings as of today (Robert Dubuc of the Terrebonne Cobras, Guillaume St-Denis of the Princeville Titan, as well as Martin Gascon of the Saint-Jérôme Panthers).
“Players will be selected based on their on-ice talent”, said Kevin Figsby, Commissioner of the QJAAAHL. “For our players, this game will provide a unique showcase for them to display their skills. For our League it’s an opportunity to show hockey fans and up and coming hockey players that the QJAAAHL offers an outstanding on-ice product”.
This game will give our players the chance to get acquainted with the caliber of play at the university level and, at the same time, compete against hockey players of U SPORTS.
This event is made possible thanks to the dedication and collaboration of the Granby Inouk, who will host the All-Star game. All members of the organization are getting involved in making the InStat All-Star Game possible and provide all attending fans with an unforgettable experience.
The general public is invited to come and in large numbers to encourage players from both teams.

Le match aura lieu le vendredi 30 décembre prochain à 15 h au Centre sportif Léonard-Grondin de Granby. Les alignements des deux équipes seront dévoilés au cours des prochaines semaines. Le public pourra se procurer des billets à prix abordables. L’entrée sera gratuite pour les enfants de moins de 12 ans et ce sera 5$ pour les étudiants et 12 $ pour les adultes.
Soulignons que les entraîneurs pour ce match seront ceux qui dirigent trois meilleures équipes au classement en date d’aujourd’hui (Robert Dubuc des Cobras de Terrebonne, Guillaume St-Denis du Titan de Princeville, ainsi que Martin Gascon des Panthères de Saint-Jérôme).

Cette joute sera une occasion pour les joueurs du circuit « Figsby » de se familiariser avec le calibre de jeu universitaire et, du même coup, de se mesurer à ces hockeyeurs du circuit U SPORTS.
Cette rencontre aura lieu grâce à la collaboration de l’organisation des Inouk de Granby, qui seront les hôtes de l’événement. Tous les membres de l’équipe s’impliquent à la réalisation du match des étoiles InStat afin d’assurer à une expérience inoubliable pour tous ceux qui y assisteront.
