15 former CJHLers representing Canada in hockey at Winter Olympics

CALGARY, Alta. – With the 2018 Winter Olympic Games now underway, the world’s athletic focus is on PyeongChang, South Korea.

The women’s hockey tournament began earlier on Sunday while the men’s competition gets underway on Thursday.

In all there are 15 former Canadian Junior Hockey League players that are set to represent Canada at the Olympic Games.

On the men’s squad 14 CJHL alumni are set to suit up for Canada as they open up round robin play against Switzerland while our nation’s women’s squad also boast a CJHL alumna in goaltender Shannon Szabados.
