Braves Set Record for Consecutive Wins

The Brockville Braves set a new Central Junior Hockey League record for consecutive wins with an 11-0 shutout over the Hawkesbury Hawks at the Memorial Centre on Wednesday night. The 19th straight win broke a 36 year-old League Record.

The Braves haven't lost since an overtime defeat on October 27th, 2009 versus the Carleton Place Canadians. Wednesday night's victory broke a record held by the 1978-79 Nepean Raiders and the 1972-73 Pembroke Lumber Kings.
